Password and email

Hello,
Changed over to a new phone tried to set up the Facebook account Facebook no longer recognizes my password or any email accounts so I'm stuck in a black hole plus they will not respond to the two forms I sent them
and my desktop is blocked out

Hi Dave

That is a sticky wicket! You are not alone with the same issue. Facebook does not like when a member tries to login from a different device, their robot believes that the account is being hacked.

Have completely logout with your previous phone before trying to login with the second or you just shut the phone off?

I did log out of facebook on my old phone after I tried a half dozen times on my new phone. My account was hacked about a year ago and I forgot to write my new password down so that's an issue to. Not recognizing my email or password?

I've been to this link a dozen times bottom line it's not recognizing my email says it's sending me a reset but I never receive them. I can bring up my recognition with my name and my cell phone number not my email

When you created the account, did you do it with your phone or another device?

I believe I created the account on my desktop

For security reasons,Facebook dislikes different devices. You must try to connect from the desktop.

The reset code is sent to the e-mail you registered when you created the account.

The emails also set up on my Android they keep on saying they've sent the reset code but I haven't received it in any of my emails or devices

Thanks for your help I think I'm going to do a hard reset on my Note 5 download all my stuff again from my Galaxy 3 with my Facebook shut off on my Galaxy 3 it see if it makes a difference
