Can I replace/upgrade my 40GbHDD Seagate?

Hello,

I'd like to know if i can replace my 40GbHDD (IDE) to at least an 80Gb Seagate Barracuda on my PC? My processor is an Intel Celeron (R) 326 2.53Ghz, 512 DDR MB, 448 MB Ram. If it's possible what do i need to know? Thank you.

of coz you can..your pc performance is good..juz uprade it..
