1. Open command prompt
2. Go to the location of your drive by using cd command
3. Type "dir /ah" (you will most probably see the contents of your folder now)
4. Type the name of the folder or file you want to open by choosing it from the list displayed
I have also got an alternate solution:
1. Open whatever folder you want to view
2. In the menu bar, go to View
3. Go to options> Change folder and search options
