Hello,
Lenovo G580 laptop wont start on battery mode but turn on AC adaptor mode.
Battery is 100% charged. I removed the battery and put back again after 20 minutes but still the issue is not resolved.

Hello Barry,
Have you tried to boot the laptop with another battery with the same characteristics? Also, have you tried to test the battery on another laptop to see if it will work? If you haven't I would like to suggest that you do so.
When booting on AC adapter, go to the BIOS menu and check if there's an option to boot on battery under the power management menu.
Hope I gave you an idea.
