Hi chits,
Could you tell how are you trying to format the pendrive? I would recommend you to open Disk Management and try formatting by right clicking the drive. If the format options is not active, open the Command Prompt that type the commands:
Diskpart
List Disk
Select Disk n (n must be number of the drive)
Clean
Get back to Disk Management and check if the format option is available. I strongly recommend you to test the pendrive on another PC.
