Cannot download attachments from emails

Hello,


I am unable to download jpgs or pdfs attached to emails. In the bottom left corner the message – Waiting for Comet.yahoo.com – appears. The message then changes to – https://au-mg6.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?.rand=88gskvj90gkn6# - and nothing happens.

I open the attachment in email (in the right half screen) and try to download it from there – nothing happens. I use Google Chrome

Everything was fine until about 2 weeks ago when Yahoo asked me whether I wanted a download and I said yes. Please help
