Brand new Toshiba Laptop shows black screen when started.

Hello,

Hey there....i recently bought a toshiba satellite l50 c. Wen i powered it on , it powers up but the screen is black with screen lights on. I tried everthing like draining the battery for 1 min and tried to power up again. It powers up but still blank screen. It does not even show the toshiba logo while starting up. Plz help ! Its giving me a lot of headache and its a new one.

Hi

Since a brand new laptop, it is under warranty. It is best you not try to repair it. Return it for repair or exchange.

Thnx for ur reply ! Actually am from india , a freind of mine GIFTED IT FROM UK. And moreover he exited from UK due to BREXIT. So i cant replace it.

Hello,

Try this 1

1) Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for

60 seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and

later put the battery back into the laptop.

2) If the problem still exists then click on the below link and follow the instructions
