>accessories
>system tools
>system restore

1. Maybe you have a hidden 'Restore' partition on your hard drive. You should be able to see if that is the case in Start > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Storage > Disk Management.
2. Doesn't your computer manual have any info about it? If you don't have a manual you should be able to download a free copy from the manufacturer's web site.
