Laptop won't go to login screen

Hello,
I have a Dell Inspiron 17 5000 and when I turn it on it only show a dell logo and that's it, it's just stuck there, no loading signal or anything

can you run the Dell hardware diagnostics? I think it's F11.

Do you have to be signed in to run the hardware diagnostic?

I did the diagnostic and it is the hard drive that is the problem

you can order a hard drive from Dell which includes a copy of Windows. The the quickest way to restore your system.
