Hp 2000 will not start

Hello,
My hp 2000 will not start. I have had it about 3 years. 3 months ago I closed the laptop and when I opened it again it wouldn't work. It said that a hardware or software change may be the problem but I didn't update anything. I tried the recovery and it didn't work. I can't afford to get a new one so I'm hoping to fix it for cheap. Help please

Hi

If your laptop does not start how can it say that a hardware or software change may be the problem?

Well I mean it won't start up. It turns on but won't start up and go to the Windows screen to pick an account. The screen works fine

Sorry Catt, at this end there is not much than be done with a dead computer, I suggest you see a repair shop.
