Internet is connected to computer but when browser is opened it

Hello,
My computer has internet connected and says it has excellent connection only when I open any browser it says it isn't, chrome comes up with the no internet connection screen and says the computer is offline, steam has no internet connection either, is the computer hiding an error or what? By the way the pc uses a belkin n300 micro USB wireless adapter if that can have any effect, thanks

Try this 1.

1) Click on Start --> In search box, type cmd --> Then "CMD" will be displayed in

the search --> Now right-click on "CMD" ---> Select "Run as administrator".

2) Now enter this command

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

Press "Enter".

3) Reboot your computer
