Laptop showing black screen with contionus beep sound

Hello,
I have HP dv6 laptop ,today when I switched on its showing a black stripped screen with continuous beep sound and later that screen changes into white. Before having this problem my laptop doesn't show the booting screen instead it shows a black stripped screen after sometime it goes to the welcome page.but now it's not working at all

you appear to have a motherboard problem. It might be cheaper to replace the laptop than to have it repaired.
