Hi Chris,
Please check if it is possible to open the BIOS menu at startup. Check if the hard drive is correctly recognized. If it is not, there may be hard drive issue or a connectivity issue. If it is, try booting from a Windows installation drive and select the Repair option. If the laptop is under warranty, contact the seller. If it is not, remove the hard drive and connect it to a desktop PC as a secondary storage drive. Try to backup all important data and download the drive manufacturer’s diagnostic tool. Check the drive for errors.
