Hi Emma,
Could you please give us more details about the problem? Is this an internal drive? Is it accessible? Could you please check it on another PC and with another cable? Are you using some tools to repair the drive?
If the drive is accessible, I suggest you to backup all important data. Check the drive with the manufacturer’s diagnostic tool. If there are a lot of errors and the drive is under warranty, contact the seller and get a drive replacement. Sadly, sometimes errors cannot be repaired, especially if the bad sectors are too many.
