Does the entire hard drive get wiped in doing as you say?

Hi Random User,
Could you give us some more details about the problem? What do you mean by restoring the hard drive? Do you want to restore the laptop to factory settings? If so, you may lose some of your data or all of it. That is why I strongly recommend you to backup all important files on another drive. You can use a pendrive, an external hard drive or a cloud online. Once all is backed up, restore your PC.
