Hi Mani,
Could you please give us some more details about the PC you are using and about the problem? Usually, when you are facing a HDD issue, the best thing to do is to confirm that all cables are OK and to check the drive on another PC. If is working there, the issue may be with your PC. If the drive is not working even on another PC, the issue may be serious and you should think about changing the drive.
