Dell laptop screen blank

Hello,

My dell laptop has suddenly gone to a blank screen.
I've tried restarting, after the initial Dell and Wondows logos though it just goes to blank.
I get the Windows login sound but nothing on the screen.

I've tried taking the battery out and holding the power button, this hasn't worked. (However it has stopped the 5 beeps I kept getting)
I've tried rebooting in safe mode, this hasn't worked.

Is there anything else I can do?
