My passport shows up under printers and devices but not in my computer. It also has a white lite showing on drive and is clicking .how can I recover my files

Hi Abbiellie,

I am sorry for any inconveniency caused by your My Passport drive. I strongly recommend you to connect the drive to another PC and using another USB cable. Search for the drive in Disk Management. Does it appear with a correct file format and a drive letter? Is there is no letter, try to assign one. If the situation is the same even on another PC, try using some data recovery tool. Unfortunately, if the drive is making clicking noises, this may indicate a mechanical failure which is not repairable.
