Message from Dell about hardware possibly going??

Hello, I occasionally get a message on my Dell Pc that the hardware may be going. I press f1 and everything goes back to where I was at. Is Dell really sending me this message? Sometimes I have to turn off the compute and reboot. Thanks. Computer is about 7 years old.I only use it for emails, google, photos. Nothing for business.
