Laptop screen got blank

Hello, my laptop screen got blank. (Dell xps). The fan is on but only screen is blank. I tried every method but it didn't work out. Please help me fix it. I have lots of my documents in it.

Hello Piku,

Please, share what kind of steps have you performed to troubleshoot the laptop's issue? The fact the you can hear the fan spinning is encouraging. I guess, the problem could be with the vedio chip of the motherboard. If there is the problem, you should bring the laptop to a technician to clean and solder the chip because its thermic paste could be exhausted. This happens a lot when there's an overheating problem.
