I have formatted and reinstalled Windows XP. After that some video files are not opened in vlc player. When I try to open I am getting message "File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "G:\SX Movies_164\Rita.flv" (Bad file descriptor).
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///G:/SX%20Movies_164/Rita.flv'. Check the log for details.
But some other files can be opened. What will be the problem and how to fix it?

Hello Ambucias,
I have reinstalled VLC player version vlc-2.2.4 win32-exe today. Still the same problem exists. What version do u suggest to be installed?. Please note that many similar files are opened in VLC. But few files are not gtg opened. These files were opened earlier before reinstalling windows XP. If so what will be the problem. I scanned few files. There is no virus threat.

Hi

The files you are trying to read are corrupted. No doubt you downloaded them from the web. Download them again, if you can.
