Dvdfab gold

Hello, I'm very confused, it says dvdfab gold is freeware, but after I installed it it says I'm a trial user. If I'm fact I'm just a trial user then it is not freeware it is on a trial and all trials are free. Since all trials are free, your site would be populated with every program that offers free trials, and it is not. So my question is how is it FREEWARE, if it's only a trial and not the whole program.
