Hello,
I recently bought a 1TB Western My Book Essential Hard Drive . It worked fine . Two months later and I can`t get any of my computers to see it. i keep all my computers are updated. I plug it in and the blue light indicating power comes on , that`s all. I have put some important info on the drive . Please someone help.

try a different usb cord
and if it comes down to it, its just an internal hard drive inside a plastic case.
if you have to, crack the case open and get the sucker out then get the data off it.
