Broken audio jack? Missing driver?

Hello,
I have a Lenovo laptop and I have tried mltiple headphones but the computer never recognizes that I have plugged them in. I checked my sound and the only thing that pops up is the Realtek HighDefinition Audio speakers so the sound only comes out on 1 side of my headphones.
