Do you need data from that flash drive, or you just want to see if you could make it work properly?
If you don't need to recover any files from it, you should give it a try with a different USB port, or even better - with a different computer, to see if the same thing happens.
Check if it's recognized by Device Manager and Disk Management:

It could be useful if you post screenshots of what you see there.
If you need to recover data from that flash drive, you could try your luck with data recovery software.
