My computer starts and then doesnt work

Hello,
I dont know what to do. I recently switched on my computer then every thing worked like cd drives works, fan works but the screen just shows the model of my motherboard i.e P5KPL-AM/PS and then the screwn becomes black and a small line is seen blinking and the blinking goes on and the comp doesnt start. Please tell me what to do.

I even removed the Ram and rubbed the golden pins with a eraser but still it doesnt work plzz tell me what to do..!!

It's possible your Windows files have been corrupted. It's going to take a PC Tech at a local PC repair shopt to diagnose and correct the problem.
