Hard drive issue

I have a dell inspiron N7010 and it gives error code 2000-0146. Hard drive 0 when doing the diagnostics test! When in hit F2 the hard drive KS displayed.

Hi Steve,

It really seems that there may be a problem with the drive or a connectivity issue. If your PC is under warranty, I would recommend you to contact the seller and ask for guidance.
If warranty has expired, I would recommend you to open the laptop and check if the hard drive is properly connected. If you have the option, connect it in a desktop PC as a secondary storage drive. Check if the drive is recognized and accessible. If it is, backup all important data and download the drive manufacturer’s diagnostic tool. If all seems fine with the drive’s condition, you may need to seek help from a technician in order to check the laptop’s motherboard condition.
