Keyboard doesn't type except when I type in my password

HI. My keyboards works off and on. The last it happened it did automatic tune up and it started working again. It lasted a coupleasure weeks. Last night my keyboard stop working gain. Is there anything that I can do to fix this. Please help! Thank you!
