Merge cell [Closed]

Hello,



What if the compared cell is a merged cell. Example, comparing the values in column C with the merged cell values in Column A, expecting the result of the values from column B.

A B C D(Result)
1 x 1
y 2
2 z 3
3 c 4

Where A1 is a merged cell which takes 2 cell places. Please help me with this!!

The explanation is confusing.

Your misaligned layout example does not help to understand.

Use at least some characters to separate the columns.
So it will be easier for us to help you.

Try something like this:
A...B...C...D(Result)
1....x....1
y.....2....
2 z 3
3 c 4
