Merging two instagram accounts - Need to make one username

Ok I have two instagram accounts

1. is xxabc ( this is my main account I want to keep

2. is abcofficial ( secondary account but I want to use THIS username  After the merge

How do I do this?

Hi,

Merging accounts is not possible on Instagram. What you can do in order to transfer your second account username to your main account, is to first make that username available.

Change your second account username by something like "abcofficialOLD". Next, go to your main account and change its username by "abcofficial".

Keep in mind that you must own both accounts, and if they reach a lot of followers, Instagram may need to review the username change before it takes effect.

I have recently migrated from a OnePlus3 to a OnePlus8Pro. Why does our account keep randomly following additional users every few weeks?

Hi,

I help run an instagram account for our company (DeepGameBasketball). We typically are only following 1 person (Kobe Bryant). However, every few weeks there seems to be someone else who is added to our "following" list. Our (few) team members have confirmed they haven't been doing this manually. Could there be some sort of reason/glitch to explain why this is occurring?

Our account is not connected to any third party apps.

I tried to archive a photo I posted that was part of a collab. I got an error message and now the post is gone. Not in my feed, archived posts, or recently deleted. Can this be recovered at all?
