Hi maplefresh,
Could you please clarify on thing: are you talking about the Acer Logo screen or the Windows loading screen? Are you able to access the BIOS menu?
If you cannot go past the Acer logo screen and BIOS is not accessible there may a problem with your PC. You may need to use a factory reset. Have in mind that this method may affect stored data.
If you cannot go past the Windows loading screen, you may need to boot from a Windows installation drive and select the Repair option. Wait for the process to end and restart the PC. Try to boot again. If the issue persists, you should reinstall Windows.
Either way, if your PC is under warranty, you should seek suggestions from the seller.
