I most agree with you Sir Mark, Pure Angel was probably not an angel in Facebook's view.
However, there is a way to appeal the decision to a Facebook "court". But it's impossible to know who presides in case of miscarriage of justice for disabled accounts. Anyway, the waiting list is very long before your case is heard.
I know the appeal procedure.
Rarely regrets and promises like "I won't do it again are accepted" and there is no way to repair the offence.
