Hi R meant,
The best thing to do is to test the drive on another PC. If the issue persists, there may be a problem with the drive. Since the drive is recognized by Device Manager, that means that there are some drivers installed, but they may be outdated. You should open the drive manufacturer’s web page and search for newer versions. Please test the drive with another USB cable.
If the issue persists, I would recommend you to contact the seller and ask for a replacement.
