Cannot recover gmail account by regular process

I am following all the prompts to recover my gmail account. It's not helping. It won't recognized last passwords I remember, I don't remember when I opened the account as it was years ago. It wants to send me a text to an old email address which was for work, which no longer exists, and it says it can verify my id when I provide other email accounts I have created for the specific purpose of recovering this particular account
