To connect internet through mobile to PC

My mobile model is: NOKIA 3110c
I have installed the required GPRS setting in my mobile... but not able to connect my mobile to PC to access internet through a Data cable... my mobile is not shown in getconnected option!.
can I know the procedure to access internet through data cable using mobile as modem?,
