No sound

Hello, i have used kill disk to clean my computer and reinstalled win xp pro but i have no sound i have used driver genious pro to download drivers but when i go to device manager and sound card i have a yellow box next to
via ac97 audio combo drivers (WDM) and in properties i get this device can not start code 10 can you help me resolve this problem i am not clude up on computers so i hope it is a simple solution thanks
