Hello,
Please i will like to reopen this topic. My internet is connect through wifi,but none of the browsers on my window 7 laptop is working. I have tried the
"Comman prompt"
"Cmd" and restarted my Pc
And it's still the same issue. Please what can i do ASAP?
Can anyone be of help??

Did you look for a Proxy Server? That's the most common malware modified setting.

Look at you internet connections settings and uncheck use a proxy for this connections if it is checked.
Also try booting in safe mode with networking and see if your browser works

I am saying do not use a proxy. Uncheck use a proxy.

Restart you machine and when it's about to start, tap F8, you will get several options, choose safe mode with networking.

Hold F8 while the computer is booting

Also tried "netsh winsock......." i followed the command i was told to restart for the operation to complete. I entered "exit" before restarting.
And here i am,still on the same issue. Nothing has changed. Please help..
