Hp laptop windows logo and then black screen.

Hello,

I have a hp laptop and when i start it i get windows logo then a black screen. I have tried unplugging the battery and pressing the power button a few times now. I tried to unplug the hard drive and run it. There i tested the ram and the hard drive. Both returned scans saying there are working. I can't get into bio or safe mode, the keyboard is working as it says in the bottom left corner what button i am pushing, but nothing happens. it just boots as normal. Any help would be great thanks,
