Dell, ispiron, bios update

Hello,
I've ran a bios update as recommended prior to windows 10 update, computer restarted and I was working on it fine.
Then word stopped responding, laptop shut down and said I have no hard drive. Now it starts, recognises me (face definition on start up) but then doesn't actually start.

Is there a way to restore it back ti before the update?
