Yahoo mail detected a virus with your attachment

We detected a virus with your attachment. It cannot be downloaded.in my yahoo mail. this is the error message i keep getting and its preventing me from downloading attached document from my yahoo mail to my desktop.

Are attachments safe according to him? To you?
