Nvidia is not able to run programmes in c lan

Hello,
i want to say that my my nvidia machine is not able to run computer graphics programmes through c language. my turbo compiler give run time error that "bad command-tc. ntvdm cpu found illegal instruction".
i talked with my teacher they told to me that it may problem of syntex "initgraph" because it may not work on nvidia machine nd it may not detect bgi driver .there is possibly any other command to plot a graph on nvidia machine. please tell me the solution of my problem as soon as possible . i am in big problem due to this.
