Laptop comes on and goes off in less than 6 seconds

Please, I need help, my probook laptop cannot come on when I press the power button. It only comes on and goes off in less than 6 seconds when I insert the the battery charger. I have tried to reset the laptop by holding the power button for 15 seconds to 1 minute without the battery yet is not working. I have also removed the battery and RAM and hold the power button for 5 minutes, is not working. What will I do?

Hi

I feel kind of sad to tell you this but you probably have a motherboard power supply failure to which only a qualified technician can attend to.

Since I don't know what's wrong I can't tell you. The price to fix it will vary from one country to another. I suggest you get an estimate and shop around for the best qualified technician.
