Gateway Factory reset

Hello,

I have a Gateway Touch-screen, I have not used it in years and now I am trying to get it moving again so that I can sell it. How do I get into my computer if I forgot the password, there is no help function that I can answer key phases or anything like that. I just want to make sure when I put it away that I wiped it clean of anything that can become a problem for me in the future (photos, emails, accounts, etc...)

Hi

To reset your computer you must be able to access it and you must first enter your password.

We are terribly sorry but CCM cannot help you to recover your lost password, because you can’t prove that you are the legitimate owner. . Everyday computers are stolen, although you may be honest, we do not wish to help potential criminals.
