I have an Acer aspire one D270 and it can't find an operating system.? what are the proper steps to use the key board to fix it?

Hi Badbob,

Aren't you in badbob trouble.

If you have not changed the boot order and if you are not booting with an other usb external drive connected, your Windows 7 may be corrupted or your hard drive is damaged. There are to keyboard fix for the latter.

Try to boot and safe mode and see if you can repair.

Hi, Ambucias please tell me the keyboard steps because the laptop will not find an operating system ? also it is telling me no boot filename received. I have been downloading all the fixes and drives and a new OS onto flash drives. Please help !!

Hi Bob, your issue is complex,

You cannot just have drives and OS on flash drives, it won't work because the operating system (windows) is not found.

I suggest you restore to factory setting. You will lose all of your data but it's better than a useless computer.
