Hello User,

I was playing a game on my laptop and it had completely frozed and I couldn't do anything. So I had Force shutdown the laptop and when I brought it back up it said hard drive not found. So I followed some tips on here and I didn't get anywhere. I brought up the system repair page by pressing f2 and I couldn't find the HDD so I pressed F9 to restart everything and it froze on me again. I am also hearing like some weird noises by where the headphone port is at. Please help me, I'm hoping someone can fix this because I don't have enough money to go down to the shop to buy or fix my laptop

Hi

This is a sticky wicket because it looks like a hard disk failure.

Try to reset your laptop to factory, out of the box, setting.

Everything in the factory reset doesn't work. Image cannot be found. All options in the trouble shoot doesn't work

Oh well, as I said before, since you can't boot to Windows, looks like your hard drive is damaged

No problem, I knew it was damaged but before I was going to start selling things, I came on here to find a fix. Thank you for your support yall are fast to responses and I love that. You have a good day

The pleasure was mine, again sorry about your issue.

P.S. A hard disk can be replaced but one should compare the cost of the fix with a new machine.

Last, stay away from Acer which is a low end brand.
