Function keys not working Closed

Hello, 

I am sanjeev i am using dell laptop now i am not able to use my function keys while working on excel how i can get it solve. 

brightness and sound adjustment is working 

help me out in this concern 

System Configuration: Windows / Firefox 43.0

In excel, what do you expect the F keys to do?  Are you pressing shift then the F key?  Are yu pressing the FUNCTION key prior to the F key?  What are you trying to accomplish with these keys?

Do they only not operate in Excel, or never?
