Cannot view all the files of pendrive

Hello,
when I plugged in my Pen drive , It is opened but I can not open and see all files it contains inside it. There is no hidden file on my pen drive. Infact, I have also tried the terminal command that shows hidden file but it didn't work. Terminal command which I have tried is: defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllfiles YES

I think problem is something else. I am not so much familiar with Mac os x.
Would be a wonderful help if you respond me very soon.

What type of files are you expecting to see on it?
