Fire Tablet won't accept my new password

I have hotmail on my Fire tablet, but I had to change my hotmail password when using my laptop.
My tablet won't accept my new password and I can't remember the old password I used on my tablet. I can't find a (forgot password) option on my Fire tablet, so now I don't have access to my hotmail on my tablet. What do I do?

you should delete the email account and then add it back with the new password.
