Which data recovery program you are using to recover deleted files on mac?

Hello,
Disk Drill gets many good reviews, however you cannot recover anything without going PRO which costs 99€.
Apple does offer the possibility of restoring from a backup - if you made one recently before the files were deleted.
A free, open source, option is Test Disk which should allow you to recover any lost files.
