Hello,
I have an realtek rtl8187b wireless card built into my toshiba
satellite a210 laptop. I am unable to connect to the internet using my
bthome hub 1.5. Theres nothing wrong with the home hub as i am able to
connect using a different computer wirelessly.

I've tried a system restore, which solved nothing. Tried connecting
with a firewall disabled which agained solved nothing.

The message i get from my computer is:

Connection Unsuccessfull

This computer is conected to BThomeHub-6753 but does not jhave access
to the internet.

a link to diagose the problem which doesnt help.

I'm completly out of ideas and have searched the internet for help for
no avail. I've also reinstalled the driver, tried connecting with no secuirity
on the router.
:
When i click diagnose the problem i get :
the network adapter wireless network connection is not correctly configured to use the ip protocol

thanks for your help

Hello Sir,

Please make sure to uninstall a software which you recently installed, and may be which caused this problem,

Then check you Antivirus,

I will advise you using
AVG security

Download it here:
https://www.avg.com/fr-fr/free-antivirus-download

Then Also re-install your network controllers driver

Thanks

I havent installed any software within the last 2 months, however i did unstall Zone alarms becuase i never use it as i use comodo firewall and antivirus software. The computer did install some updates the day before i thought they may have caused an issue, so i removed them and it didnt solve the problem.

I've just pulled an old bt Voyager 210 modem out of my cubboard and tried connecting via an ethernet cable same problem happened, I've since reinstalled all network adapters on my computer yet again and the problem still occurs. Also i have tried using a usb cable to connect with the same result.

I have also ran an virus and spyware scan
